I followed all steps and when I reset password here is the message I got. You do not have sufficient privileges for this resource or its parent to perform this action. This is what I get too. Anyone have a suggestion, as to what next? Likewise. Seems like testing was lacking.

There are downsides to 100% Pex. First, it couples noise much better than flex. This is important with the pump connections. Second, it can be very difficult to get fittings on Pex to align with the fittings on a faucet in the tight space behind a sink. Finally, Pex can result in stresses on fixed fittings and valves since it is stiffer. Not as stiff as pipe, but you don’t want a horizontal run bouncing and applying forces to a fixed fitting. My 2 cents is to leave the flex on the pump and faucets, and possibly some places on the control panel, while using proper fittings and adapters. Also to anchor Pex near fixed connections and be sure it approaches the connection as close to 90 degrees as possible to minimize torque.

JK Wilson, in 2 years when I retire the first trip will be around all of the Great Lakes. My wife is a lighthouse admirer. We’ve hit a bunch since we retired. The Great Lakes are worth a lot of time. You say you hit a bunch of lighthouses, hopefully you’re not a sailor! LOL Ha!

Two thoughts: First, the East Coast is tougher to follow. Boston, Philly and NYC are major obstacles. There are also some low lying regions in Maine and the Carolinas that interfere with travel close to the coast. In Florida, you may find horrific traffic along the east coast since the road runs right next to the beach. Planning will be important! Second, don’t ignore the Great Lakes. Less hectic than the ocean coasts, for the most part. Still have some big cities to dodge. Just a few items are the lighthouses on Superior and Michigan, gorgeous beach at Holland, Michigan, Mackinac Island and the bridge, Indiana Dunes, Kohler-Andre State Park in Wisconsin, and Door County further north

Did the grill igniter several years ago and love it. Nice when boondocking if one of us is up early fixing coffee on the stove so you don’t have the loud clicking.

Check door seal. The cooling unit is working, at least somewhat, as demonstrated by the freezer. Leaky door seals are a common cause of warm refrigerators.

There are several things folks often overlook First make sure the intake filter(s) are clean. if they are dirty air flow is reduced and some A/C's have "Frost" detectors. these detect when the evap starts to Ice up (or rather they should) and shut down the compressor... That sounds like your issue. Second make sure the condenser (Rooftop the part that gets HOT) is clean.. For different reasons.. IF I Were making an A/C i'd include an over pressure sensor. I do not think Dometic did but that's how I'd do it. Finally Fan on high.. Not low. Not auto Two reasons. First.. Your problem.. Fan on high might fix Second.. Yes I know it is noisy but it's very close to "White noise" which means your brain, given a few minutes, will filter it out.. and what's more that fan noise will cover the compressor so you won't be as annoyed by it cutting in and out be it short or long cycling (you will hear it but you might need to pay attention to do so) Also when your next site neighbors get into a knock down drag out.. You won't hear that either. (Trust me on that count... Throwing things through the window level fight and I never heard a thign). Thanks for your feedback. This AC being a month old is still clean and the filters get cleaned regularly, I have an air compressor close by and try to blow out each unit, along with the fridge and water heater area, monthly. Running the fan on high can be counter-intuitive since the compressor shuts off during the satisfaction of the T-stat and the fan continues to run and bring in the hot/humid outside air which then causes the dehumidifier to run which produces heat... so on and so on. When it's really hot out we have to do that with the unit in the front, no t-stat, and the humidity gets crazy up there. It appears that replacing this simple little therimister was the answer, thanks Doug for asking about that, it was just by happenstance that I pulled that down while looking for the model number and then it took off. Going on day 3 of the unit working the way it should, which it really never has since new. The air conditioner fans neither bring outside air into the trailer or expel inside air out. The air paths are completely isolated. Only refrigerant passes between the inside of the trailer and the outside carrying heat to the outside.

I would not run with the fan on low. Ice up is a common occurrence with low fan speed. I’ve never seen a unit that changes speeds on its own

My suggestion was when low fuel is detected, DISCONNECT THE POWER FEED, and THEN shut the engine down. Two phases. Again, you don’t understand how fuel level is detected. Such a device would require shutdown with a significant amount of fuel in the tank and would result in frequent unintentional shutdowns from wind or bumping the generator, and would completely preclude using the generator while in motion.

As regards "Pay attention to how much fuel you have" would require having some way to check fuel level ... there is no fuel gauge on the Champion nor the Honda. There is on the Yamaha. In any case, adding fuel to a running generator is a real good way to fire, explosion, and/or death. As regards "how would the generator do a “smart shutdown”?" ... It does not seem difficult for any manufacturer to implement a fuel level sensor, and when the sensor detects "Low Fuel" a relay disconnects the power, and then shuts down the generator. !!!! I can't believe these engineers haven't thought of that, and how that easily accomplished feature would be a sales boon. I think I will write to Champion, Honda, and Yamaha............. Your understanding of how equipment works is lacking. The very act of the generator shutting down while equipment is powered on is what has the potential for damage. Whether because it runs out of fuel or a sensor tells it it’s about to run out of fuel and it chooses to shut down, the result is the same. A low fuel sensor wouldn’t help in the least. The device needs to be shut down while the generator is running to eliminate a chance for damage. That is not only not simple, it’s not possible without extensive redesign of the equipment being powered by the generator.

Nothing special about the Champions. Every manufacturer has a similar warning and similar risk of damage. How exactly would a generator know it was getting ready to run out of fuel until the instant there was no fuel? And how would the generator do a “smart shutdown”? It’s the equipment that needs to be turned off. The answer is simple: Pay attention to how much fuel you have and shut equipment off to refuel before the tank is empty.

OP here... Any construction progress update? on edit: In looking at the "I-69 Finish Line" website, it appears that it is complete up to 144 at Waverly. I69 has progressed, but there have been closures on 465. Preferred route is still 69 to Martinsville, take exit 137 and use 39 to jump over to 67 and then Ameriplex to the airport.

Not likely. IIRC, the EU2000 is only able to supply a little over 13A. That might run an AC, but it won’t start it. Especially since you need to run the converter too.

RE: slight shock

My neighbor just purchased a new ( used ) fifth wheel.. When he was inspecting it at home, he received a slight "shock" when touching the lug nuts... He did not feel it anywhere else.. I am thinking maybe a loose ground wire? what says the experts here?? Glad he was only plugged into a 15 amp circuit! This is a very dangerous situation. If plugged into a 30 amp service, could potentially deliver a 220 volt shock to someone! Could be a problem at the pedestal side, or in the trailer! Again, it needs to be throughly checked by a professional before someone is seriously hurt or killed! Absolutely not. RV 30A service is 120V only. No 240 in any form.
